Low testosterone can be dangerous for your well being, however on the other hand If your body produces too much testosterone, you may also have irregular or absent menstrual periods.
You may also have more body hair than the average woman. Some women with high testosterone levels develop frontal balding. Other possible effects include acne, an enlarged clitoris, increased muscle mass, and deepening of voice.
High levels of testosterone can also lead to infertility and are commonly seen in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is an endocrine condition that is sometimes seen in women of childbearing age who have difficulty getting pregnant. Women with PCOS have symptoms similar to those produced by high testosterone levels. They include:
While there are numerous hormones we may aptly label important in-terms of proper function and health, for men the hormone testosterone is of great importance. A class of male hormones called androgen is of significance to every males needs for testosterone. However it is needless to say that both men and women require testosterone for a well-functioning body with the exception of men needing it in far higher amounts than their female counterparts.
While a very important hormone and largely misunderstood, testosterone is easily one of the most exciting hormones we can discuss, especially as it pertains to performance enhancing; in-fact, we can confidently say it is the most important hormone in the performance enhancing game.
Without adequate levels of testosterone our goals will largely not be met and without increased levels you can in many cases wave goodbye to the idea of surpassing these goals to a great degree. As a very important hormone, in order to make the most of exogenous use, meaning in this case testosterone introduced beyond our natural production, we are best served to first have a general understanding the hormone itself and then how best to maximize its use regarding its various forms.
Testosterone belongs to a class of hormones known as androgens; in-fact this is the primary androgenic hormone.
The ovaries produce both testosterone and estrogen. Relatively small quantities of testosterone are released into your bloodstream by the ovaries and adrenal glands. In addition to being produced by the ovaries, estrogen is also produced by the body’s fat tissue. These sex hormones are involved in the growth, maintenance, and repair of reproductive tissues. But that’s not all. They also influence other body tissues and bone mass.
A very powerful hormone in its own right, testosterone is largely responsible for testicular and prostate development, as well as the development of muscle tissue, bone density and strength. Beyond these basic functions, testosterone is by-in-large imperative for our overall general health and well-being; low levels of testosterone can not only negatively affect muscle and bone strength but can negatively affect our state of mind.
While a member of the androgenic class of steroidal hormones, testosterone is also highly anabolic. As both androgenic and anabolic, like all steroidal hormones testosterone is derived from cholesterol and is largely regulated in terms of production by luteinizing hormones (LH) and follicle stimulating hormones (FSH).
Being regulated by LH and FSH, in order for these hormones to be released the pituitary gland must first be stimulated in order to achieve this purpose; once achieved and LH and FSH are released, testicular stimulation is achieved thereby causing the production of testosterone. As you can easily see, as important as the testicles are in testosterone production, the pituitary gland is of equal importance; without adequate pituitary function natural testosterone production cannot occur.
While a hormone we naturally produce and for centuries athletes of all types have experimented with testicular extract but true synthetic testosterone intended for human use first made its way to the scene in 1935, largely thanks to chemists Adolf Butenandt and Leopold Ruzicka who both received a Nobel Prize for their work. With the testosterone hormone now being isolated and synthesized the first successful injections of testosterone were available in the form of Testosterone-Propionate.
Once the first batches of testosterone were made available, soon after many other forms would be introduced and made ready for human use but there is something important you need to understand. All testosterone in a general sense is the same; it is the ester attached that gives it its own unique function regarding time release and duration of activity but by-in-large all exogenous testosterone is simply the same testosterone. We will explain as we go along and get into understanding half-lives
Your man might be a sex machine now, but don’t be surprised if he seems to be running on fumes as he gets older. Around age 40, some men start to have a progressive drop in testosterone, and that can really stall a guy’s sex drive as well as indicate and even lead to other health problems.
When men reach their fifth decade, their testosterone — the hormone that gives them their appetite for sex — can begin to dip by about 1% to 1.5% per year, every year. That may not sound like much, but over time, the decline can have unpleasant consequences in some men.
Not only can this hormonal drop contribute to erectile dysfunction and ruin the mood for sex, but it can also affect your man’s attitude in general — low testosterone levels can be associated with depressed moods, low energy, motivation, and self-confidence. It can also lead to low bone density, increasing his risks of osteoporosis. Low testosterone can also lead to reduced muscle mass and increased body fat, all of which can contribute to obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome.
Contrary to popular belief Bubble Butts are definitely not your average common big asses you see on the high street. Bubble Butts are round like a globe, usually, complement a slender/slim body, they are very tight and firm unlike the ones on fat asses.
Bubble butts are great and of course, a turn on for many who love twerking.
Despite the common beliefs, if you have hip dips on your figure, it is not a sign that you have some sort of disparity in body proportion or somewhat a freak.
In fact, hip dips are a natural way in which your hip bones are aligned and as it happens that some women have a wider pelvis hip bones, their hip dips are much more visible than others.
The indentation which we call hip dents actually is known as the ‘trochanteric depression’ in anatomical terminology.
If you have very visible violin hips, you’re not a freak, and it’s not a deformity, it can mean there is a bit of a dip between your hip bones and where your thigh bone (femur) starts.
In many cases, if you have muffin top bottom which is commonly also known as the love handles, your dip hip is likely to show than those with medium dipped hips.
Some people call hip dip pelvis as:
Whether you’re feeling insecure about your bubble butt curves or own them like others who have hated hip dips for years, there is a slew of reasons why having wide hips is actually not only sexy and enviable but beneficial when it comes to fashion too.
Yes, seriously! When you take a look at some of the fabulous facts about hip dips and wide pelvis benefits, that will make you re-think the way you see hip dip preposition of your figure!
Kristi Lewton, an assistant professor in the department of anatomy and neurobiology at Boston University School of Medicine, and colleagues at Harvard University, Hunter College and Washington University, St. Louis, has shown that this so-called “obstetric dilemma” might not be a dilemma at all.
Wide hips or dip hip come in handy during childbearing as humans give birth to very large (“ginormous!”) newborns. Unlike chimps and other nonhuman primate babies who emerge from the birth canal with room to spare, human infants must perform a complicated series of rotations to make their way into the world, and the pelvic opening is just barely big enough. If something goes wrong, the lives of both mother and baby are at risk.
As I took a deeper look into why bubble butts and violin hips or hip dips are in the spotlight, more and more young ladies chasing fashion trends are always on the lookout for ways to rock fashion trends. Take hip dips for example which are a great figure for rocking high-waisted jeans and mini skirts which lead on to uncovered more names – violin hips a common way to describe hip dips and It’s a very common feature that plastic surgeons sometimes deal with (the solution is to graft fat into the area of the dent to try and round out the shape).
Surprisingly One popular belief is that a few people mentioned that they always thought hip dipping could have been caused by wearing their underwear in the ‘dip’ location.
Seriously many women actually think of this might have been a contributing factor as well and to this day, I often find myself adjust my underwear waistband to sit on the offending muffin top that seems to insist on highlighting my hip dips. Just in case the position of the waistband can wear down that annoying bit of fat!!!
My love for food and being adventurous with taste buds has never weaned when it comes to bringing the awesomeness to the dinner table. If you find your meal times a constant fight with your little ones or a bit stale, maybe it’s time to bring in the big guns to dinner.
We probably all have the same bottles in our pantry and fridge, those multi-colored, familiar products we have known since childhood.
There’s the red squeeze bottle of ketchup, the yellow squeeze bottle of mustard, the jar of generic barbecue sauce, the tub of sour cream and the big bottle of white mayonnaise.
Even if our tastes in food have changed dramatically since our youth, chances are good we are still using the same condiments or organic, vegan versions of them.
Isn’t it a travesty that we will spend so much time and effort making a variety of veggie burgers only to put the same old ketchup, mustard or mayo on them.
Why go through all the trouble to perfect a best veggie burger recipe and yet not put that same effort and creativity into creating even better just give a twist to our condiments readily available in the pantry as well?
Call me a rebel for everything normal, but I despise routine. Unfortunately, kids, especially over five-year-olds to teens all hate dull and boring dinner routines too. So if you are struggling with making them love your vegan menu, take a new look at what you can do to make them fall in love again with everything you cook.
There is no reason we have to stick with the plain, boring versions of the past.
You wouldn’t serve pasta with the same plain tomato sauce every single time, so why serve your burgers and fries with the same old ketchup?
And if you buy condiments or make your own, why not turn those familiar flavors into eye-opening, exotic ones by simply tweaking or mixing in a few ingredients to make it palatable to your vegan beet toasted batties?
I have won the hearts of my household lifestyle by Letting our imaginations and taste buds run wild and take our condiments from boring to WOW!
If you are wondering, even possibly contemplating to give a try, here are a few ideas you can borrow and make them your very own:
You can take any prepared ketchup, whether bottled or homemade and easily turn it into a flavor-packed specialty condiment. The next time you are thinking about ketchup for your veggie burgers or fries, try one of these zesty versions.
Love Chinese Flovors?
To give your ketchup a Chinese flavor, add 2 teaspoons of Chinese 5-spice powder, 1 Tbs. soy sauce, the juice of a lime and a pinch of black pepper to one cup of ketchup. This would be perfect on Hoisin Black Bean Burgers.
Add some bold Mexican flavors to one cup of ketchup by adding 1 teaspoon each of ground cumin, ground coriander and chili powder, the juice of a lime and a tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro. Cumin is a wonderful complement to beets so this would be great on my Roasted Beet Burgers.
Crispy fries taste great with creamy curry-flavored ketchup. Just add 1 Tbs. curry powder and ¼ cup non-dairy yogurt to one cup of ketchup. This is a delicious dip for almost anything…maybe Walnut-Crusted Artichoke Hearts? Yum!
To make spicy Jerk ketchup, add 2 Tbs. jerk seasoning, the juice of a lime and 1 Tbs. pineapple juice to one cup of ketchup. If you want chunkier ketchup, use chopped fresh pineapple instead of the juice. Try this ketchup to spice up this Quinoa and White Bean Burger.
My favorite way to jazz up ketchup is by adding 2 tsp. of smoked paprika and 1 Tbs. of vegan Worcestershire sauce. It tastes rich and smoky. Balsamic vinegar can be used in place of the Worcestershire sauce if necessary. This is going directly onto my Kidney Bean-Walnut Burgers.
Dijon mustard is delicious. It’s my choice of condiment for vegan hot dogs, sausages, and many sandwiches. Adding other flavors to mustard changes it into something everyone will swear you picked up in some expensive specialty store.
For an amazing mustard, you can use as a salad dressing, combine ½ cup Dijon mustard, 2 or 3 Tbs. white wine vinegar (to taste), a pinch of curry powder and 1 Tbs. fresh chopped cilantro. Try this on your next summer salad.
If you loved the taste of honey mustard, make a vegan version by mixing ¼ cup each Dijon mustard and agave nectar, 1 Tbs. apple cider vinegar and a pinch of salt. This is perfect for salads or as a dip for Crispy Tofu Nuggets.
Adding 1 tsp. of diced jalapenos and the zest and juice of a lime to ½ cup of Dijon mustard gives you a spicy sauce that’s perfect for tacos or tempeh “fish” fillets.
My favorite mustard mash-up happens by stirring 1 Tbs. prepared horseradish, 1 Tbs. of chopped fresh dill and 1 Tbs. of vegan mayo or sour cream into ½ cup Dijon mustard. I use versions of this horseradish-dill combo on my Eggplant Crunchburgers and my homemade Tempeh “Crab” Cakes.
Though I hated it as a child, vegan mayo is my favorite condiment of all. I can dip just about anything into mayo. When you make ordinary mayo, it’s a fancy aioli. Since mayo itself is bland, it’s a perfect blank canvas for so many flavors. I’ll try to select just a few to highlight here.
You can buy Sriracha-flavored mayo in the store or you can make it yourself. Just mix ½ cup mayo with ¼ cup Sriracha. If you want to sweeten it up a bit for balance, add a touch of agave or some sweet pickle relish. This would be perfect on this Vegan Humdinger Sandwich that has mostly mild flavors from the cucumber, avocado and alfalfa sprouts.
For a beautiful spring green condiment, make Chimichurri Mayo by adding fresh herbs to mayo. Puree ½ cup of your favorite herbs such as parsley, cilantro, thyme or basil with one garlic clove and a cup of mayo. Add salt and pepper to taste. Spread some on this Tempeh Tomato Herb Sandwich for an amazing meal.
For an Asian twist, mix 2 Tbs. white miso with 1 cup of mayo. Add 1 Tbs. grated ginger, 2 tsps. agave nectar, and a dash of toasted sesame oil. This would be an amazing dipping sauce for some Daikon Fries.
I make the creamiest red pepper aioli by mixing ½ cup vegan mayo, ½ vegan sour cream, ½ cup roasted red peppers, 2 tsp. dried basil, salt, and pepper in a food processor. It’s not only delicious, it’s really pretty. It’s the perfect topping for my Fried Green Tomatoes.
I love making my own BBQ sauces and I’ve shared some recipes for them in my article, “10 Ways to Make Awesome BBQ Sauces, Rubs, and Marinades.” But if you have a bottle of store-bought BBQ sauce sitting around, you can easily doctor it up and turn it into something special for any of your barbeque dishes.
For a Cajun BBQ sauce, combine 1 cup barbecue sauce, ¼ cup bourbon and 2 tsp. Cajun seasoning in a saucepan. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Serve with these Cajun Burgers for a hot and spicy dinner.
Get a taste of Hawaii by mixing 1 cup barbecue sauce with ½ cup fresh diced pineapple, ¼ cup pineapple juice and 1-2 Tbs. brown sugar, depending on how sweet you want it. Where would I put this? Oh, on any skewered dishes or on an incredible jackfruit sandwich.
Turn your seitan or tempeh ribs into a Japanese feast by slathering them with a teriyaki barbecue sauce. Simply mix 2 Tbs. molasses and 2 Tbs. tamari or soy sauce with 1 cup of barbecue sauce. Season with 1 tsp. each minced garlic and grated fresh ginger.
If you have a bottle of hoisin sauce or Chinese barbecue sauce sitting around, make it special. Add 3 Tbs. plum vinegar, 2 Tbs. mirin or Chinese rice wine, 2 Tbs. tamari or soy sauce and 3 Tbs. agave nectar to ¼ cup of hoisin sauce. Mix well and garnish with scallion greens. Use this as a dipping sauce for my Chinese 5-Spice Potato Latkes or Veggie Dumplings.
The vegan sour cream is another blank canvas just begging to be painted on. I make my own Coconut Sour Cream but I love adding other flavors to it. Any of the recipes for mayo would work with sour cream but here are a few more ideas.
In a food processor, puree 1 avocado with ½ cup vegan sour cream, ¼ cup chopped green chiles, the juice of one lime and one garlic clove. Season with salt and pepper to taste. This is like having your sour cream and guacamole in one condiment; perfect for serving with quesadillas or nachos.
Add the juice of a lime and 2 Tbs. of chopped fresh cilantro to ½ cup of sour cream. This will taste refreshing on any Latin dish, especially tacos.
I often use vegan sour cream to make Tzatziki sauce. To one cup of sour cream, I add ½ large chopped cucumber, one clove of minced or grated garlic, the juice of half a lemon, a bit of olive oil and 1-2 tsp. of chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Tzatziki sauce is the condiment of choice for falafel and chickpea burgers.
For a spicy kick, take one cup of sour cream and add in ½ of a chipotle pepper that has been seeded and finely minced. Stir in ½ tsp. of adobo sauce, 1 tsp. of agave nectar and the zest and juice of a lime. The chipotle sour cream is perfect on baked potatoes, in black bean soup or with my Spanish Potato Latkes.
As you can see, when you know the basics of different ethnic flavor profiles and spice combinations, you can incorporate them into basic condiments to make amazing toppings, dips, and sauces. With these recipes, no one will ever ask you to “hold the mayo” again. I bet you to try it!
Forget about Gordon Ramsy or Reggie Reggie source from Levi Roots, as a father my parenting skills would fall short if I did not develop my children’s taste buds. Tasty marinades are an essential if not integral to getting flavor inside a pressed block of tofu or a bunch of vegetables.
And that’s not all…
Vegan meals are synonymous for being bland, so in an effort to easily turn them into an instant BAM! You need well sourced Dry spice rubs which will not only add spice but when you cook the food, you get a delicious crusty coating
Wanna borrow some Vegan summery Spiced meal Ideas that turned me from a bland dad in the kitchen into BAM DADDY?
For a basic spice rub, you can use on seitan, tofu, or vegetables, try this combination that is similar to the famous Chicago steak spice blend. After rubbing on the mix, let the food stand about 15 minutes before cooking. For about 1/3 cup of rub, combine 2 Tbs. dry mustard, 2 Tbs. garlic powder, 1 Tbs. black pepper, 2 tsp. smoked paprika, 2 tsp. kosher salt, 1 tsp. dried thyme and 1 tsp. cayenne pepper.
This rub has a little more heat in it from the chile powder, but it’s not too spicy. It’s best used when you need a bolder flavor — for instance on seitan or BBQ dishes. Combine ¼ cup chile powder, 2 Tbs. paprika, 1 Tbs. dried oregano, 1 Tbs. ground cumin, 1 Tbs. dried coriander, 1 Tbs. dry mustard, 2 Tbs. brown sugar, 2 tsp. kosher salt and 1 tsp. black pepper to make about ¾ cup of spice blend. Let the rub sit on the food for 15 minutes before cooking.
The curry, cumin, coriander, mint, turmeric, and ginger in this rub make a bold and delicious spice blend for tofu, tempeh or vegetables, especially potatoes. To make about ½ cup of Indian Curry Rub, combine 3 Tbs. curry powder, 1 Tbs. kosher salt, 2 tsp. crushed red pepper, 2 tsp. ground cumin, 2 tsp. ground coriander, 1 tsp. dried mint, 1 tsp. turmeric and 1 tsp. ground ginger. Let the rub sit on the food for 15 minutes before cooking.
This is the marinade I use when I made Jerk “Chicken” with tofu or other vegan meats. This recipe makes enough marinade to serve 4. Combine ¼ cup tamari, ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, ¼ cup fresh lime juice, 2 Tbs. vegan Worcestershire sauce, 2 tsp. hot sauce, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 minced chile pepper, 1-inch grated fresh ginger, 3 Tbs. brown sugar, 2 tsp. ground allspice, 2 tsp. dried thyme, 1 tsp. kosher salt, 1 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, ½ tsp. ground nutmeg, ½ tsp. cayenne pepper and ¼ tsp. ground cloves. Mix the ingredients well and let the tofu or vegetables marinate for at least 15-20 minutes before cooking.
When I make tofu veggie kabobs, this is my go-to marinade. It’s rich from the balsamic vinegar and just a little spicy. This recipe makes enough marinade for one block of tofu and enough vegetables to make 8 kabobs. In a bowl, combine ¼ cup low-sodium vegetable broth, 2 Tbs. balsamic vinegar, 2 Tbs. tamari, 1 Tbs. vegetable oil, 1 tsp. kosher salt, 1 tsp. dried basil, 1 tsp. dried oregano, 1 tsp. dried thyme, 1 tsp. paprika, ½ tsp. ground black pepper, ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes and 2 minced garlic cloves. Marinate the tofu in the mixture for at least 30 minutes. Reserve a bit of the marinade and in another bowl, marinate the veggies for no longer than 10 minutes.
These Island Tofu Kabobs have tofu, seitan, and vegetables marinated in a sweet and spicy blend of orange juice, garlic, and ginger. I add pineapple to the veggies on the skewer for an added tangy tropical flavor. When the pineapple is grilled, it becomes a whole new thing. So delicious! For 8 kabobs, combine ½ cup fresh orange juice, ¼ cup agave nectar, 1 Tbs. tamari, 1 Tbs. brown rice vinegar, 3 sliced scallions, 1 Tbs. freshly grated ginger and 3 minced garlic cloves. Place your tofu or seitan in one plastic storage bag or bowl and your vegetables in a second one. Add half the marinade into each of the storage bags or bowls. Make sure all of the ingredients are covered with marinade and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before cooking.
This marinade is actually a thick paste that I use to cover tofu and onions in one of my favorite Spanish recipes. It’s really fast and easy to make and it adds bold flavors to anything you put it on. This recipe makes enough to easily cover one block of tofu. In a food processor, add ½ an onion that is chopped into large pieces. Add 4 cloves of garlic to the food processor along with 1 Tbs. chile powder, 1 tsp. ground cumin, 1 tsp. ground oregano, ½ tsp. kosher salt and ¼ tsp. ground cloves. Add 1/3 cup of water and process into a smooth paste. Place the tofu or whatever you are marinating in a shallow bowl or dish and pour the marinade over it. Use a pastry brush to make sure the food is evenly covered with the chile paste on both sides. Let marinate for 30 minutes before cooking.
The BBQ sauce is really easy to make. The basic recipe involves combining a tomato base, an acid, a sweetener, and spices. Knowing the basic formula lets you mix and match ingredients to create new and exciting BBQ sauces. You can adjust the amounts of the ingredients if you prefer your BBQ sauce more tomato-y, more vinegary, sweeter, or spicier. My basic BBQ Sauce recipe is a bit more sweet than spicy, and I add some orange juice for a bright fruity note. In a saucepan, combine 2 cups ketchup, 1 ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, ¾ cup maple syrup, the zest and juice of ½ orange, 3 minced garlic cloves and 1 tsp. black pepper. Stir and heat over medium heat until it comes to a bubble. Lower the heat and let simmer for 30 minutes until it thickens.
When I want a BBQ sauce that has a lot more kick and richer, deeper flavors, I go for West African Style, Nigerian food flavoring in particular have a huge influence on this one that gets extra heat from red onions and chiles. Using balsamic vinegar in addition to apple cider vinegar adds a rich, syrupy flavor that is just incredible. In a small saucepan, combine 1 ½ cups ketchup, 1 cup apple cider vinegar, ¾ cup balsamic vinegar, ¾ cup maple syrup, 2 Tbs. brown sugar, 1 minced red onion, 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 Serrano chile that has been seeded (if you want less heat) and minced. Stir and let simmer, uncovered, for about 30 minutes until the sauce thickens.
For Asian barbecue dishes, you can quickly whip up this sauce, which is sweet, salty, thick, and tangy. Combine ½ cup hoisin sauce, ½ cup mirin or sherry, ½ cup ketchup, 2 Tbs. minced ginger, 2 Tbs. brown rice vinegar, 1 Tbs. agave nectar, 2 tsp. Sriracha (or more to your liking), 1 minced garlic clove and ¼ tsp. of five-spice powder. Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat, and then reduce the heat to low and simmer until slightly thickened. It should take about 15 to 20 minutes. Stir the sauce occasionally.
When it comes to rubs, marinades, and sauces, these are just 10 of the infinite possibilities. Think about what flavor profiles you prefer and let your imagination run wild. Once you experience how much a rub, marinade, or sauce can boost the flavor of your dishes, you’ll love creating your own combinations and wowing everyone with your secret recipes. But you’ll share them with me, right?

Many cultures use the same small amount of ingredients so often, they become a “flavor profile” for that ethnic menu. Maybe when you look at Mediterranean recipes and think that Italian food just has lots of garlic and basil? Well, fret no more…..here’s how you could easily dip your toes into ethnic culinary and save thousands of money on takeaways every year.
Yes, there is garlic but not necessarily a lot and there is so much more. Italian cooking is probably best known for its use of garlic, olive oil, and basil – the three best ingredients to make the perfect pizza. Italian seasoning blends tend to have herbs such as oregano, basil, marjoram, tarragon, and parsley in them. Southern Italian cooking is spicier than that of Northern Italian and uses more anchovies and red pepper flakes. Other flavors familiar to Italian cuisine include onions, tomatoes, artichokes, olives, lemon, fennel, rosemary, red wine vinegar, and balsamic vinegar. Vegan versions of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese will also enhance your Italian fare. Try making Ooey-Gooey Baked Ziti or Spaghetti with Vegan Mozzarella-Stuffed Meatballs.
Mediterranean food is some of the healthiest and most flavorful food on the planet. As in Italian food, garlic, oregano, olive oil, and tomatoes are commonly used in dishes. Greek cuisine, in particular, is known for its use of rosemary, thyme, bay leaves, and red onions. Nothing says Greek food more than the fresh citrus flavors of lemon and the tangy, salty yumminess of vegan feta cheese. Indulge in the deliciousness of Spanakopita or Spetsofai, a Greek stew with vegan sausage and peppers.
We can’t talk about cooking and not mention French cuisine. Classic French dishes usually have olive oil, garlic, basil, thyme, rosemary, marjoram, and sage or you can buy herbs de Provence which is a combination of these herbs and sometimes, lavender. Other common ingredients are tarragon, shallots, capers, and Dijon mustard. French cooking uses a lot of wine and lots of butter, so it’s a good thing there are great vegan wines and recipes for vegan butter available to us. Who doesn’t love a warm and hearty French Onion Soup? Or go classic with a Seitan and Mushroom Bourguignon.
This is my favorite type of food. I have a special fondness for anything spicy and if I had to choose my one favorite spice, it would be cumin. To me, cumin is the spice that makes food smell Spanish. Other common flavors in Spanish food are chile powder, oregano, Mexican oregano, garlic, onions, and cilantro. Make an Artichoke Paella filled with rice and veggies. All sorts of pepper and chiles are used in Latin cooking such as ancho chile, poblano peppers, jalapeños, and Serrano chiles. If you love Mexican food, then you know that common flavors include lime, hot sauce, scallions, tomato, and avocado. Try these flavors out in Chile No Carne or a Mexican Tofu Scramble.
Making your own Chinese food is easy so long as you have the basic ingredients to create those amazing sauces. Whether you are making Mandarin, Szechuan, or Cantonese food, keep the following ingredients on hand: garlic, fresh ginger, brown rice vinegar, mirin or sweet rice wine, low-sodium tamari, Hoisin sauce, toasted sesame oil, miso, agave nectar, and Sriracha hot sauce. Other common ingredients include peanuts, cashews, sesame seeds, and scallions. Enjoy these flavors in Sesame Tofu, Pomegranate Sweet and Sour Tempeh, or Dim Sum Soy Sauce Chow Mein Noodles.
The flavors of Japanese food are light and delicate. Umami adds flavor and depth. Indian food is warm and exotic. There are some very bold flavors in Indian cuisine and if you have the basics, you can be making your own Indian dishes in no time. Most Indian dishes begin with by toasting the seeds of spices such as cumin, mustard, and coriander, though you can certainly use the dried versions if that’s what you have. Cardamom pods, fenugreek, fennel, and turmeric are other common spices. Garam masala is a combination of spices and everyone makes their own a different way but it usually has cumin, coriander, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, and cardamom. Garlic, fresh ginger, and onion are used as aromatics and dried chiles are often used for heat especially in Southern Indian food. Curry pastes and powders are also common in Indian cooking and they come in various types with a wide range of spice levels. Yogurt and coconut milk are often used in Indian cuisine so you will want to have some non-dairy versions handy as well. Tandoori spice blends usually contain cumin, coriander, ginger, paprika, turmeric, salt, and cayenne pepper. Try your hand at a Vegan Tofu Tikka Masala or Savory Indian Lentil Doughnuts.
My love of Thai food is fairly new to me. To be honest, the first time I tried it, all I tasted was peanut butter. Luckily, I found better places to eat it and now I love to make my own Thai food. When I want to prepare a Thai feast, I make sure to have lots of garlic, ginger, shallots, scallions, lemongrass, cilantro, and Thai basil for my herbs and aromatics. Curry paste comes in red, yellow, and green – each has its own taste and level of heat. Thai recipes usually use low-sodium tamari, rice or sweet wine vinegar, hot chili peppers, and coconut milk. One of the most distinctive flavors in Thai food usually comes from fish sauce, oyster sauce, or shrimp paste. Luckily, there are lots of recipes out there for vegan versions of these sauces. Street Pad Thai is delicious as are my Cold Rice Noodles in a Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce.
Another favorite of mine – I love Cajun food, Jamaican food, and Rastafarian food – pretty much anything with rice and spice makes me happy. The common flavors in these cuisines are onions, celery, peppers, chiles, tomatoes, scallions, and parsley. The spices of Cajun food includes cayenne, paprika, garlic, black pepper, oregano, and thyme. Jerk seasoning is made up of allspice, cinnamon, brown sugar, red pepper flakes, cumin, cloves, and black pepper. You can buy these pre-made blends or learn to make them yourself. These Cajun Burgers are amazing.
Casablanca. Bogey and Bacall. Amazing Moroccan food. The flavors of North African cuisine are ginger, sweet paprika, hot paprika, cumin, cinnamon, saffron, turmeric, cayenne, mint, and harissa. Ras El Hanout is a mixture of ground spices including cardamom, nutmeg, anise, mace, cinnamon, ginger, peppers, and turmeric. Moroccan dishes often include olives, raisins, dates, almonds, sesame seeds, and lemon. All those flavors are found in this Moroccan Grilled Eggplant, Onion, and White Bean Spread or try this Raw Moroccan Vegetable and Chickpea Stew with Spicy Orange Cauliflower Couscous. My Moroccan Tofu in a Lemon-Olive Sauce is one of our favorites.
Think about your favorite cuisine and why it’s your favorite. What are the unique flavors and combination of ingredients that you love? Once you get a feel for how spices, herbs, and other ingredients work together, you’ll be on your way to making incredible international cuisine. Maybe you can even start hosting dinner parties with a different ethnic theme each week.
“This most ignored Plant on your shopping list Returned My Vision, Removed Fat From My Liver And Completely Cleansed My Colon.” Says 60-Year-old man From UK.
Ridiculous claims about colon cleansing and detox diets have been made online one too many times in the past few years. Believe it or not, this is not one of them! There is actually an ignored plant that can efficiently restore vision, remove liver fat and cleanse the colon completely as a regular UK old man discovered by accident, and all this with just regular consumption.
A very unpopular, reddish veggie, commonly known as Beetroot which originates from Europe is the recent controversy to what many pundits in the health industry are now calling it a weight loss fade.
Beetroot has been around for centuries in the UK and across Europe. It is mainly consumed raw or in salads, and although many people don’t prefer its taste, they still consume it as the doctor’s most recommended daily portion for its numerous health benefits.
But……. that’s not all!
Beets are capable of improving your blood circulation and strengthening your cardiovascular system while providing your body with enough energy for the whole day.
Now Compared with another popular colon cleansing trend sweeping across the UK, where a Manchester student has successfully lost 1.2 stones, for me I think beetroots does stack up for many good reasons.
But the results from using Bioslim colon cleansing are a sure fire for those who want to lose weight fast while beets work for those with a long-term commitment to the salad menu.
“Having struggled with weight my whole life. I have had my own share of failures while trying things that make sense to many people like Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig, which just didn’t work as good as they promised.
Being a single Mom with a kid at home myself and having to juggle between working and my degree studies at Manchester University, It’s important to mention that I don’t have any time to be at the gym.
I needed a miracle to shed off the burgeoning tummy flaps that had made me lose a will to even contemplate getting off my dress in front of my partner. The romance was definitely off the table…
When I was assigned this big research project, I saw it as a perfect opportunity to get a deeper look at the natural weight loss opportunities that are out there, and that is when I found out about combining BioSlim ColonCleanse and apple cider vinegar.
Bioslim Colon Cleansing works in favor for those looking into losing massive weight fast while those who have all the time to take the grind then can take the slower route of beets.
The vegetable contains tryptophan and betaine, which are two rare substances that efficiently fight stress and soothe the nervous system. Beets are also high in anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidant content which fights free radicals in the body and boosts the overall health.
Probably you are wondering how this beet is prepared into an incredible beetroot salad that you can consume on daily basis.
Unlike Bioslim which requires you to buy the bio slim and Vinegar, beetroot salad requires these Ingredients:
Salt to taste
Extra virgin Olive oil
Start off by peeling the beets and cooking them in water with a pinch of salt. Once done, chip them up in small slices and put them in a bowl, before chopping the onion and mixing it with the beets. At last add, some olive oil and vinegar then season the salad with some salt, before ending by sprinkling some vinaigrette. Let the salad sit for an hour before serving the delicious salad.
This incredibly healthy salad will efficiently cleanse the colon and liver while improving your eyesight. It’s highly recommend you to consume it on a daily basis as Beets are highly nutritious and healthy.
Amanda’s weight loss story is remarkable and bewildering, but there is more to learn from this if you are on the market for best ways to lose weight fast. In this interview Amanda reveals how she shared the BioSlim Colon Cleanse and apple cider vinegar combination with her close friend, Mark, who had also been struggling with his weight. Mark’s results are even more impressive than Amanda.
We sat down with Amanda to ask her more about how she found out about BioSlim Colon Cleanse and whether or not that is all that she used to lose 1.5 Stone so quickly.
Amanda: To be honest, I really didn’t. I was given a budget for the project by the university, and I spent nearly all of it researching everything under the sun. I looked into other previous research, case studies, and even successful weight loss stories of others.
Amanda: It’s sort of funny, while I was looking into weight loss stories of others I decided to see if I could find out more about how celebrities were able to lose so much weight so quickly. Surprisingly, even with all of the tabloids, it was pretty challenging to find concrete information on exactly how they did it. However, I was able to find a radio interview where some actresses credited their entire weight loss to combining BioSlim Colon Cleanse with apple cider vinegar.
Amanda: It actually was not very expensive at all, and thankfully so. By the time I had found out about BioSlim Colon Cleanse and apple cider vinegar, I had about £13 left in my project budget. Since BioSlim Colon Cleanse is a completely natural formula, the supplier doesn’t spend a lot to manufacture it. Additionally, they actually provided me with a free 1 month sample and I just paid for shipping! So I got BioSlim Colon Cleanse for £5 and picked up a bottle of apple cider vinegar for £6 from a local grocery store, and I still had £2 left in my budget!
Amanda: There isn’t much to it, and that is the appeal of it all. Every morning, I made tea with 1 – 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and took BioSlim Colon Cleanse with it. Other than that, I didn’t change a single thing in my daily routine. 30 days later, I am 1.5 Stone off the waist and in better shape than ever before!
Since helping her friend Mark, Amanda has gone on to share the BioSlim Colon Cleanse and apple cider vinegar recipe with many others!
BioSlim Colon Cleanse contains the naturally occurring ingredient, hydroxycitcric acid, which boosts weight loss by blocking excess body fat production while increasing resting metabolism by more than 130%. This combination makes the body go from a fat-gain to fat-loss state while resting.
